Is it possible to create the independent, local bookstore online? ...to capture all that is Copperfield's and imbue our website with the sight, sound, service, and yes, feeling of our stores? We've certainly tried! Still local, still independent, we welcome you to our virtual bookstore!

What can you expect from our virtual bookstore...
The independent bookstore we've created is brimming with books in all the genres. You can browse the latest fiction and nonfiction. The site offers the insight of the knowledgeable and well read clerks and buyers through their picks. The book you are looking for will be delivered onto your screen to review and, if you desire, easily purchased. You also can reserve a title for pick-up in your local stores.

Local authors, new authors, as well as famous authors are represented. You can learn more about an author through the videos (much like in-store author events) or interviews conducted by our staff. You can preview the author events you want to attend in the stores (10 to 20 a month) and opt to subscribe to our e-newsletter which includes our seasonal Literary Review and Calendar of Events.

There's plenty to read and do that engages such as writing contests, science quizzes, and book club picks. It's a meeting place just like your local store. You can choose to get social through our social media sites or mark time by yourself as you wander the aisles. We're adding new features all the time and invite you to revisit us often and make this site your own.

We invite you to test drive this site now that you know what we're shooting for. Since 1981, our customers have helped us create the Copperfield's that exists in each of the brick and mortar stores. In fact, each of our stores is a reflection of our customers' desires and reading preferences... Now we ask you to do the same for us online. How can we make this site better?
